CANCELLATION POLICY
At Desert Southwest Oral and Facial Surgery we value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all patients, please review our cancellation policy:
Cancellation Notice
- General appointments require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellation.
- Surgical appointments require 72 hours’ notice due to preparation and staffing needs.
Rescheduling Policy
- You may reschedule your appointment without penalty if you provide the required 72 hours notice. Any patient rescheduled with 72 hours notice can reschedule up to 2 times.
- All surgical patients are required to confirm their appointments at least 72 hours in advance. Desert Southwest will consider appointments canceled if confirmation is not made within 72 hours. The appointment slot will be filled by another patient if not confirmed.
- Repeated rescheduling (more than twice for the same procedure) will require a 25% deposit to hold future appointments. This deposit will be held and applied to treatment at the time of service. If surgery is cancelled, then only 50% of your deposit will be kept as your cancelation fee.
- For Medicaid patients: 72 hours notice is required. If notice is not provided, you will only be able to reschedule one time, and consultation will be required prior to surgical appointment.
